*** I'm sharing the attached social media and promo items in hopes that you might be able to help me get the word out to students on campus about two upcoming sessions as part of our Discover Your Future in Healthcarehttps://www.umanitoba.ca/career-services/discover-your-future-in series. We will be featuring two very popular roles - Occupational Therapist, and various roles in Eye Health & Vision Care including Optometrist, Optician, and Orthoptist.
I've included a bit of info below if you'd like to include any text or send via email to the students in your program.
We have shared the post on our IG page, so if you're able to share it on social media, that would be fantastic too. I've included the digital slide to post on any monitors in your area.
****** Do you have passion for science and an interest in helping others? If so, you may want to consider a career in the field of healthcare. The Discover Your Future in Healthcare series features a variety of different occupations from the heath care sector.
This February students interested in Occupational Therapy and/or Eye Health & Vision Care can connect with working professionals to learn more about these fields of work. Virtual info sessions will be hosted Feb 18 at 2:30pm and Feb 17 at 2:30pm respectively. Eye Health & Vision Care session guests include an Optometrist, Optician and Orthoptist. To learn more about many other health care occupations, students can access recordings from past years on the DYFIH websitehttps://umanitoba.ca/career-services/discover-your-future-in and explore the UM online Occupational Library.https://www.umanitoba.ca/career-services/career-planning/explore-occupations/psychologists
Thanks in advance for your help in promoting this valuable event! Lindsey
