Hi everyone,
The Aurora Modernization Project team spent two weeks in November talking to students and gathering input to help shape the New Aurora system. At various locations, Pop-Up booths provided students with a video preview of the New Aurora hub and an opportunity to share feedback through a short survey. We received a lot of positive feedback from students based on what they saw in the video and heard ideas about which functions would be most helpful. Ultimately, we heard a lot of excitement about a new interface that is mobile-friendly.
We would like to share the same short demo video with the Advising community, so encourage you to watch it on the Aurora Modernization Project SharePointhttps://umanitoba.sharepoint.com/sites/um-intranet-aurora-modernization-project?OR=Teams-HL&CT=1686332942287 site.
The go-live plan will be a phased approach to rolling out new functionality for students in 2024, likely starting in March. This means that there will be incremental changes throughout the coming year. More details will be provided as the plan is developed and we will be working on opportunities to provide more details about what things will look like and how they will work.
Stay tuned, Elfie
