Dear colleagues,
We would like to inform you that in anticipation of a possible Postal Service disruption, Manitoba Student Aid (MSA) stopped sending items out through the mail on October 30, 2024.
As an interim measure, MSA will email letters to clients or call them to convey information as appropriate, with physical correspondence to be sent out once the service disruption is lifted.
If any of your students need to submit documents to our office, please see available options below:
* In-Person: Documents, including those that require signatures in ink, can be submitted to MSA office located at 401-1181 Portage Avenue Winnipeg, Manitoba R3G 0T3, between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday to Friday. * Designated Drop Off Points: If students are located in Manitoba, outside of Winnipeg, there will be designated mail drop off points, see link for details http://dev.eduinter.internal/dev_msa/msa/distribution-centers.html. Ensure mail is clearly addressed to Manitoba Student Aid and put the student's name and file number on each document. * Drop box: Documents may be dropped off at the MSA drop box located on the East side of the building, beside the Wall Street entrance. It is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please put the student's name and file number on each document. * Email: Documents that do not require an ink signature, may be sent as an attachment to manitobastudentaid@gov.mb.camailto:manitobastudentaid@gov.mb.ca. Please put the student's name, file number and name of document in the subject line of the email. * Courier: Student's may also use other courier services at your cost to mail your documents to MSA office.
Please encourage your students to monitor the Manitoba Student Aid website for updates about the disruption.
For information about arrangements at the National Student Loans Service Centre to address the postal disruption, please see NSLSC websitehttps://www.csnpe-nslsc.canada.ca/en/home.
