IST continues the efforts to recover the health of our hardware and restore our systems and services. IST had planned to keep the Angel Learning System available but unfortunately this was not possible.
Since 6pm IST has been preparing for hardware replacement. At 7:15pm the replacement hardware arrived at the University.
We are now under way at implementing the replacement hardware that should hopefully restore our systems and services.
Any system or service not operational at this time can’t be recovered until the replacement hardware has been implemented and tested.
If the new hardware is successful all systems including the Angel Learning System will be brought back into service and the systems should be fully operational by 6 am on Oct 12th.
We do not expect at this time to have suffered any loss of data throughout this process.
