[UofM notice] All Emp's and Students e-mail: Purse Snatching

University of Manitoba Security Services is urging caution following a reported incident of a purse snatching in the early evening March 13, 2010 in the vicinity of Chancellor Matheson Road.

Students, faculty, and staff are urged to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious person(s) immediately. Security Services continues to work in conjunction with Winnipeg Police Service and reminds our community that the Department is available 24/7, providing safewalks, patrols, and immediate response to emergencies, Code Blue Poles and emergency phones throughout campus.
