We're thrilled to invite you to the 2025 Undergraduate Research Showcase (URS)https://umanitoba.ca/research/opportunities-support/undergraduate-research-showcase - a one-day event celebrating the innovative research and scholarly work of UM undergraduate students. Let us know what you did last summer and join us on Thursday, October 16, 2025, to present your summer research through oral or poster presentations, connect with fellow student researchers, and compete for a share of $6,500 in cash prizes!
Who Can Register? All UM undergraduate students who meet the following criteria are welcome to participate:
* Currently enrolled at UM or graduated in Spring 2025 (as long as your research was completed during your undergraduate studies). * On track to complete a UM undergraduate degree. * Supervised by a UM-affiliated researcher (e.g., through URA, NSERC USRA, or similar programs). * Students in Honours thesis programs or special Honours courses are also eligible.
Presentation Categories: Choose the category that best fits your research or creative work:
* Applied Sciences * Health Sciences * Natural Sciences * Social Sciences and Humanities * Creative Works
