U of M Sustainability Strategy and You
The University of Manitoba Sustainability Strategy and You!
The University of Manitoba is committed to improving sustainability and operating in a way which respects and supports our environment. In an effort to become a leader in this regard and in keeping with the newly adopted Sustainability Policy, we are undertaking to develop a comprehensive Sustainability Strategy and we need your help to ensure this effort is a success.
Since June, the University of Manitoba Sustainability Committee has been working on an action plan to develop the comprehensive Sustainability Strategy for the University that will set goals and actions with respect to campus operations, planning and community engagement.
The action plan includes soliciting ideas and feedback from the University community. Over the next few months, the Committee will be reaching out to the community for assistance in the development of the strategy. There will be various opportunities for participation such as working groups, focus groups and surveys. We hope you will join us in one of these many opportunities.
Your contribution to this process is critical and it will help to formulate a strategy that is relevant and meaningful to you and to the University of Manitoba community. Thank you in advance for your interest and participation in this very exciting endeavour.
