Message from Naomi Andrew, Vice-President (Administration)
Dear UM Community,
Over the past months, we have seen a significant increase in requests for booking facilities, rooms and spaces across our campuses. While we are pleased to see such high levels of engagement, it is challenging to accommodate all requests.
I encourage everyone to review the process for booking facilities at the university so that we can effectively plan and support you. You can find more details here:
* Request to book a room on campushttps://umanitoba.ca/registrar/request-book-room-campus * Event Application Formhttps://umanitoba.ca/campus-services/event-application?page=terms_and_conditions
Additionally, our Use of Facilities Policyhttps://umanitoba.ca/governance/sites/governance/files/2021-05/Use%20of%20Facilities%20Policy_1995_05_24%20RF.pdf provides important guidelines on the use of university spaces and facilities as well as the existing Terms and Conditionshttps://umanitoba.ca/campus-services/terms-and-conditions-booking-facilities.https://umanitoba.ca/campus-services/terms-and-conditions-booking-facilities%22%EF%B7%9FHYPERLINK%20%22https:/umanitoba.ca/campus-services/terms-and-conditions-booking-facilities
To ensure fair accommodation for all events, we aim to be flexible with bookings while implementing reasonable limits. We are committed to working with you and appreciate your cooperation in following our established processes and policies.
Thank you for your understanding and continued contributions to our vibrant university community.
Sincerely,
Naomi Andrew Vice-President (Administration)
