Survey participants needed for research on food and nutrition security at the University of Manitoba
Hello!
Faculty in the Food and Human Nutritional Sciences Department are conducting a research study to learn more about food and nutrition security among students at the University of Manitoba (UM). We are seeking current UM students with at least part-time status, who are at least 18 years old, and who currently live in Winnipeg to take our survey. You must also be able to read and write English. Your participation in this study will consist of one approximately 20-30 minute survey. Questions may include basic demographic information as well as information regarding household nutrition security, household resilience, food availability and utilization, among other topics. All survey respondents completing the survey between December 2023 - February 2024 will be eligible to receive one of 8 $100 Amazon electronic gift cards via random drawing in appreciation for participating.
You may only complete the survey once. If you have previously completed this survey, you will be ineligible to participate.
We would like to assure you that this research has been approved by the Research Ethics Board at the University of Manitoba, Fort Garry campus, and all data will be kept confidential by the research team.
