Fee Payment for Winter Term Courses
Deadline for payment of Winter Term fees is Thursday January 8, 2009.
. Click http://umanitoba.ca/admin/financial_services/revcap/StudentAccounts.htm here for information on methods of fee payment.
. Check your fee balance on Aurora Student. If you have questions or concerns about your student account, call the Registrar's Office at 474-9420 or drop in to Room 400 University Centre during business hours (8:30 - 4:30 Monday to Friday).
Final Examinations
. Double check the time and place of your exam on the online December http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/media/FinalDec08.pdf Final Examination Schedule.
. Remember to leave your cell phone or PDA and valuables at home, and to bring photo ID (U of M ID card preferred). Refer to exam instructions http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/exam.html .
. If you must miss an exam due to illness, see a doctor and obtain a note, and contact your faculty advising office immediately. Refer to rules for missed http://umanitoba.ca/student/records/finals/682.htm exams. Note that faculties have specific rules, procedures and forms. Refer to your faculty advising office.
Registration Changes
. Changes to your Winter Term registration are made through Aurora Student. The system will be operational throughout the Christmas break. The deadline for registration revisions for Winter Term is Monday, January 19.
. Note that January 19 is also the last day to VW a Fall/Winter spanned course (full year course) without being held responsible for the Winter Term portion of tuition fees. You are responsible for fees for any course in which you are registered after January 19. Note: the deadline to receive a 50% refund for a Winter Term course is February 2.
. If you know you did not achieve the grade needed in a Fall Term course that is prerequisite to a Winter Term course, drop the Winter Term course as soon as you know your status. The space you give up will be then available to another student and this will free up time in your schedule to add another course before it fills up.
Grades
. Grades are available in Aurora Student as they are submitted by instructors. Log in to Aurora Student, select Enrolment & Academic Records > Student Records > View Final Grades.
Planning to Graduate in February or May 2009?

If you intend to graduate in February 2009 and did not declare online, you must contact your faculty office.
. Log in to Aurora Student, select Enrolment & Academic Records>Declarations>Declare Graduation Date.
. Select your intended graduation month from the drop down menu and press 'submit'.
Good luck on your exams and have a great holiday!
