
This, too, should be tempered by the information that the 10.5.7 update addresses more than 40 areas of vulnerability which the US-CERT agency characterizes as "vulnerabilities which could allow an attacker access your data without your approval or cause your computer to crash."
This update address these vulnerabilities in applications such as Apache, CUPS, Flash player, IPSec, Kerberos, NTP, PHP, RUBY, and X11 world in addition to Apple's CoreGraphics, iChat, QuickDraw, and WebKit.
