Phony FBI e-Mail Contains Malware Attachment (6 January 2003) Some people have been receiving e-mail messages purporting to be from the FBI and informing them that they will be indicted on charges of illegal downloading. The e-mail includes an attachment that claims to be the evidence taken from their computers but which really contains malware.
