Please refer to the following message from IST regarding the Shared (S:) Drive:
To support upcoming storage work, we will be migrating the Asper share (Shared) to the new Powerscale system. During this activity, the share will be temporarily unavailable.
Schedule
* Start: Friday, August 14th at 5:00 PM (share taken offline; resynchronization begins)
* End: Monday, August 17th by 8:00 AM (share back online at the latest)
How to connect (no change if you already use DFS)
As long as you access the share using the DFS path below, your mapping/shortcut does not need to change:
\\ad.umanitoba.ca\Management\Shared<file://ad.umanitoba.ca/Management/Shared>
What you need to know
* During the outage window: The Shared share (S: drive) will be unavailable (you will not be able to read/write to the share).
* Any open files should be closed and saved before the maintenance period begins.
