Some Canadians are more vulnerable to ill health than others because of determinants like their gender, income, education, race/ethnicity, Aboriginal status, sexual orientation, or where they live. These determinants also shape Canadians? access to primary health care (the provision and coordination of health services that are responsive to community needs). If there?s no one-size-fits-all model, how can we ensure that Canadians have equitable access to primary health care? How can we design a health care system that protects against vulnerability? Please join us for a stimulating discussion with health experts about access to primary health care for vulnerable populations.
