Hi Everyone,
Thanks to Simon for asking the question about the format of our board meeting at Congress.
We will follow the same format as our May meeting, where in person attendance will be encouraged but not required and the meeting will be hybrid.
Our travel policy (attached) currently states that each member who attends the annual board meeting can be reimbursed for transportation and accommodation. At our March meeting on the agenda will be a discussion to cap this at $500 (for a few of reasons. We used to meet in person every three years and now we meet in person annually. Also, costs to travel have increased quite a bit. However, this discussion needs to consider the hybrid format of our meetings and board member needs). I am not sure what direction the board will take this discussion but wanted to be fully transparent.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely, Fenton
