RECRUITING Speakers for the Rady Faculty of Health Sciences, College of Community and Global Health BOLD IDEA Speaker Series
Greetings all,
We are still recruiting speakers for the College of Community and Global Health Bold Ideas Speaker Series Fall/Winter 2025-2026. The series is scheduled on Fridays throughout the Fall and Winter Term from Noon to 1 PM. Please see the attached schedule for the remaining dates.
FIRST, we would like you to identify a time slot as to when you would like to present. Pick at least two to three dates to aid scheduling. Notify myself at: Brenda.Elias(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:Brenda.Elias@umanitoba.ca> ASAP so that we can reserve your time slot. We will then confirm your date.
Two to three weeks prior to your talk (or even sooner), please complete the attached abstract form, provide a headshot picture and submit the form and picture to myself. For those with many presenters, you may want to use a picture that represents the ideas, imagery, etc of the topic you are presenting on.
We will produce an email advertisement to promote your talk using the information you provide. Instructions will then follow on the presentation/discussion format. Please note that we are using a Zoom approach, which has had the most success. The ZOOM link will be sent to you and all participants in advance, reserving the time for the talk. Please note that all presentations will be recorded.
