Trans & Two-Spirit Day of Visibility Bannatyne campus event: * Date: Monday, March 31 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. * Location: Brodie Atrium, Brodie Centre (727 McDermot Avenue) * A short program will feature remarks from Mikayla Hunter, Elder Charlotte Nolin, and the Rady Office of Equity, Access and Participation. Light refreshments will be served. Fort Garry campus event: * Date: Monday, March 31 from 1 to 2 p.m. * Location: Fireside Lounge, UMSU University Centre (65 Chancellor’s Circle) * A short program will include Professor Fenton Litwiller and a number of UM students followed by raising the transgender flag. Light refreshments will be served. Planning with Purpose: Event planning for folks living on low income Thursday, April 3, 6-7pm 133 Frank Kennedy Centre Sign up online: https://forms.office.com/r/8sAbZ3pG3T CEL is excited to host an in-person workshop on Planning with Purpose! Learn to plan and host supportive events for individuals living on low income, developing a range of ways to improve event execution to meet diverse and unique needs. In this workshop we will work together and discuss the event planning processes, considering how different decisions or oversights may impact attendee participation. Facilitated by Johann Tan (PACA Recreation & Support Programmer) and Matthew Salyn (FKRM Placement Student).
