I recognize that I live, work and enjoy many privileges on the traditional lands of Anishinaabeg, Ininewuk, Anisininewuk, Dakota Oyate and Denesuline, and on the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.I pledge to respect the people who were here long before the settlers arrived and for whom this continues to be their home. I commit to learn more about the history and ongoing impact of colonization and listen to the concerns of Indigenous people.I promise to be a good steward of these traditional lands, and I am grateful for all the opportunities they have given me.
