September 19 Dialogue of Disruption (DoD) Event

I wanted to let you know about our upcoming DoD event featuring perspectives from the Offices of Anti-Racism, EAP, and Community Engagement and Social Accountability...We hope you will be able to attend. Theme: Working towards more just futures: Navigating 'where we live now' The Rady Faculty of Health Sciences Social Justice and Anti-Racism Unit which includes the Offices of Equity, Access and Participation, Anti-Racism, and Community Engagement and Social Accountability invite you to join us for our fall launch and sixth session of our Dialogues of Disruption Speaker Series.
This series is designed to challenge the status quo, offering a platform for meaningful dialogue and the chance to contribute to fostering more socially just and equitable futures. This past year, we have explored topics such as disability justice, manifestations of racism(s): queering race, community engagement with newcomer, immigrant, and refugee communities, and the importance of courage, accountability, and mutuality in disrupting racism(s) at this moment in time.
In this sixth event in the series the Directors and Co-Leads of the Offices of Anti-Racism, Community Engagement and Social Accountability, and Equity, Access, and Participation reconvene to share our thoughts on some of the gaps that persist, some of the challenges we face, and next steps in our efforts to work towards disrupting and dismantling systemic inequalities.
