As part of Sigma Phi Alpha, Delta Eta Chapter's philanthropic efforts, we are hoping to collect donations for 1JustCity! They are a non-profit charitable organization that promotes social justice and addresses issues such as homelessness, food insecurity, and provides culturally appropriate support to their Indigenous guests. As they run three drop-in locations and have a large demand from the community, they mentioned it would be incredible to have some extra support this season.

Their community development lead says bus tickets are a huge need (there are never enough, the more the merrier - especially with the cold weather approaching)! This includes senior tickets.

Besides bus tickets, I have attached lists of accepted vs. not-accepted items. Please take a look! Both items and monetary donations are welcome.

Item donations can be left in the box labeled SPA at the SDH office (Room D212 - 780 Bannatyne Ave.). Monetary donations can be made via e-transfer to this email address (sigmaphialpha.deltaeta@gmail.commailto:sigmaphialpha.deltaeta@gmail.com), or by cash (enveloped, put into the SPA mailbox in D212). Bus tickets can be enveloped and put in the SPA mailbox as well.

I will be taking all donations to 1JustCity on Friday, Nov 28th, so please have your donations in before then. This donation opportunity is extended to faculty and students at the SDH, so please feel free to participate if you wish.
