I am pleased to provide details about our upcoming workshop, "Advanced Techniques in Implant Maintenance." Below you will find our agenda which provides an overview for the day.
8:15 - 8:30 AM Registration (location: Theatre E)
8:30 - 8:35 AM Welcome and Introductions
8:35 - 10:15 AM Lecture: Advanced Techniques in Implant Maintenance - Dr. Jack Lipkin
10:15 - 10:30 AM Break
10:30 - 11:30 AM Lecture: Advanced Techniques in Implant Maintenance - Dr. Jack Lipkin
11:30 - 12:00 PM DH3 Didactic Test on UM Learn (approximate time)
12:00 - 1:00 PM Lunch and Learn: Sponsored by Nobel Biocare Canada (location: Alpha Omega)
1:00 - 1:15 PM Lab Demonstration: Dr. Jack Lipkin (location: Brass Lab) 1:15 - 3:00 PM Hands-on exercise (location: Brass Lab)
I want to draw your attention to a few key details:
* Start Time: 8:15 AM * End Time: 3:00 PM * Lunch and Learn: A session hosted by Nobel Biocare will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Lunch will be provided.
Workshop Assessments: To successfully complete the workshop, DH3 students will be required to pass a didactic test and participate in a hands on activity. Do not panic, if you listen well and actively engage in the morning session, you will do well.
Didactic Test:
* Time: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM * Format: 20 multiple choice questions based on the material presented by Dr. Lipkin during the morning session.
We are honored to have Dr. Jack Lipkin, a renowned expert in prosthodontics, leading this session. His expertise and generosity in sharing his knowledge provide an incredible learning opportunity for us all.
Please come prepared to engage fully and make the most of this valuable workshop. Please note that we will have several residents from the Grad Perio and Grad Prostho departments, as well as the Registrar of the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba (CDHM) also participating in this session.
