Dear Dental Students Classes of 2029 & 2027 (IDDP), School of Dental Hygiene Class of 2027, and School of Dental Hygiene Direct Entry Students:
Opening Assembly (The White Coat Ceremony) will be held on:
Thursday, September 4, 2025
6:00 p.m.
Brodie Centre Atrium (727 McDermot Avenue)
If you are unable to attend the ceremony, please advise me ASAP; if I don't hear from you, I will assume you will be in attendance.
Please bring your short white lab coat with you to the ceremony; be sure to have it unbuttoned and prepared to have it donned on you.
You will be called onto the stage by the Dean and a Faculty member will donning your white coat on you and you will then button it up on your own.
School of Dental Hygiene DIRECT ENTRY STUDENTS: You will only need to stand when you name is announced; you will not be coming onto the stage.
***Please meet staff from Dentistry & School of Dental Hygiene near the ATM/Answers booth in Brodie Centre no later than 5:15 p.m. so you can be lined up accordingly and given further instruction.***
Your family and friends are welcome to attend the ceremony, please note that it will commence at 6:00 p.m. sharp.
If there are people with limited mobility attending, please let me know ASAP and I will be sure there is reserved seating for them and those accompanying them. Please provide number of people in the party...
