Dear Colleague,
On Thursday, January 5, COMSOL will give a free webinar on "Simulating Bioheating and RF Tissue Ablation with COMSOL Multiphysics®." Details and registration are available below.
Localized tissue heating is an important process in a variety of medical therapies, with applications such as tissue removal, shrinking collagen and surface capillaries, and minimizing birthmarks. To ensure the design of safe procedures, you must know the extent and duration of the elevated temperature in the tissue as well as the energy absorption.
In this webinar, you will get a live demonstration on how to simulate bioheating, evaluate tissue damage, and model ablation methods in COMSOL Multiphysics®, including low- and high-frequency electromagnetic radiation, focused high-intensity sound, and lasers. We will also discuss how simulation results can provide designers with an edge to reduce time-to-market, create safer and more robust medical devices, and provide critical analysis during governmental approval. You can ask questions throughout the presentation or at the end during the Q&A session.
Live Presentation - Thursday, January 5, 2017 2:00 p.m. EST. To register, visit: http://comsol.com/c/4wl9
