Dear Colleague,
I would like to invite you to two free web workshops that I am organizing on introduction to COMSOL Multiphysics(r) and Application Builder as well as best practices using COMSOL Multiphysics(r) simulation software. We will discuss what the software can do, show you how it can be used within these two areas, and answer your questions.
COMSOL Multiphysics(r) Software & Application Builder ------------------------ Date: Wednesday, August 2. Time: 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. EDT. Event details & registration: http://comsol.com/c/5vgk.
During this workshop we will: - Get an introduction to the capabilities of COMSOL Multiphysics and the fundamental modeling workflow - Watch a live presentation of the entire analysis process via a practical example - Learn how you can benefit from expanding the power of simulation to a wider audience with the Application Builder - See how quick and easy it is to turn your sophisticated COMSOL model into a specialized application that any engineer can use
Best Practices for COMSOL Multiphysics(r) Users ------------------------ Date: Wednesday, August 2. Time: 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. EDT. Event details & registration: http://comsol.com/c/5vgu.
During this workshop, we will discuss: - Geometry and definitions: cumulative selections and geometry parts - Geometry and mesh: virtual operations - Materials: Global materials and materials switch - Physics: the use of cumulative selections in physics - Physics: physics sequences, exclusive and contributing features - Physics and solvers: modification of the physics tree in a study step - Solvers: solver sequences, using initial conditions in sequences of study steps, and using separate studies - Solvers: segregated and fully coupled solvers; when and why - Results: annotations, selections, and parameters in results - Results: the Report generator - Recording and running methods - New features in the latest version of COMSOL Multiphysics(r) software
Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to address them.
Best regards,
