[EpiData-list] NEED OF HELP ON EPIDATA. DATES MANAGEMENT. RELATIVELY URGENT PLEASE

How do you handle the dates in Epidata? I want to select a database from june 2013 to july 2014 (birthdate "BD") If I do like in Epiinfo

select bd > "30/04/2013" and bd < "01/08/2014" it does not work . I havez tried with and without "", or commas, and no result

I HAVE BEEN STUCK FOR 3 DAYS
