Perhaps could you try saving your project directly under "c:\Documents and settings\Claudio"

to this should be added. Try to install your software in:

"c:\Documents and settings\Claudio\epidata but it might not help since the error is related to where the software writes the cfg file.

So before releasing v1.01 we will re-consider where files are placed.
