Does Stata support UTF-8 with chinese characters? I see on their support site a lot of questions about this, but no answers. Stata V12 infile statement has no support for extended character sets:

3. ASCII or EBCDIC data can be read. (from http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?infiling)
