You need to import rec + chk files with EpiData Manager before you can use the new software EntryClient.
The new file format is of the type "epx".

I have Downloaded and installed Epidata Entry version 4.4.2.0.i386.darwin.dmg on my MAC - from 04. July 2018.
But when I double click on a REC file or a QES file I get an error. Access error.
When I open Epidata Entry and try to open a REC or QES files, they are greyed out.
I am using MAC OSX Sierra.
Is this a compatibility issue?
