It is an option to run more than one copy of the manager. Same goes for analysis and entryclient We will not implement multi - user entry. Translation is next in line. This is expected to use the general po file principielt. Jens Lauritsen

Exploring the new 1.3.0.6 client version, I noticed in the settings an option called "Allow multiple program instances" I looked for it at epidata web documentation but I was not able to find.
At first I tought it was an option to allow multiple typers in the same dataset. If this is the case, when the second typer closes the client, a warning comes asking to overwrite the data typed by the first typer. Thus, it seems not to accomplish this purpose yet.
However, this option is also available in the manager, so I believe this was not the purpose.
If it is an option to allow to open two or more client windows but not necessarily to type in the same dataset, it works fine.
Is there a plan to allow multiple typers to type simultaneously in the same dataset? I was curious about this issue because the old EpiInfo v6.04 was able to so, and at the documentation of the latest version of EpiInfo, says that the EpiInfo is able to do so. Other data entry software seems to be able to do so too, such as CSPro and OpenClinica.
Another question... when are you guys planing to do some translation to portuguese at the menus and documentation?
