Dear Torsten,
Thanks for the help, I have added (afterRecordState="arsReturnToParent") in the both DataFile tags i.e. Parent as well as relational one and it worked.
I would like inform you that I have created totally new project in the new version: 2.0.23, I am not trying to open the file created from the previous versions, then why this error occurred and why it is required for parent form i.e. (dataform_1)?
Thanks & best regards, Rasool Bux

Hi Rasool.
Between version 2.0 RC2 and 2.0 RC3 there was a (small) change in the XML structure, where a new attribute was added.
As previously stated all test versions may change the XML file if needed and loading projects from non-stable versions are not supported. Hence, using the experimental programs should be done on experimental projects and not data that is for every day use.
The actual change af XML is rather small. It is a new attribute 'afterRecordState' that must be applied to all tags <DataFile>, and if you wish you can add the following to the tag <DataFile>:
afterRecordState="arsReturnToParent"
by yourself using a text editor (eg. notepad).
Kind regards, Torsten Bonde Christiansen. EpiData Association.

Thanks Torsten, for updating the test version as I was facing the same issue. I have just tried to use it and I have created a small relational project in it. I am able to enter the data in it via Entry Client but unable to reopen the project file in EpiData Manager. Following error occurs while opening the project:
Unable to open the file: C:\Users...\MyProject.epx ERROR: A required XML attribute was not found. The tag #document->EpiData->DataFiles->DataFile(dataform_1) expected an attribute with the name "afterRecordState"!
I am using the following version of EpiData Manager: Program Version: 2.0.23[RC3] r1078 Core version: 2.0.0.0 r1103 FPC version: 2.6.4 Plateform: i386-Win32
Please suggest me, if I am making a mistake or not doing it proper way.

Dear List.
Due to an error in building the test version of EpiData Manager v2.0 RC3, the version intended for Windows (32-bit, standard) edition could not create related datastructures.
Today we have updated the installation on the testing webpage (here http://epidata.dk/testing.php) with a new version (2.0.0.23 RC3).
We encourage all to test this new version and report any errors back on the mailing list or on the bugtracker http://www.epidata.info/flyspray/.
