[EpiData-list] losing checks after inserting new variables and saving data in Epidata Analysis

I am losing all my checks in the rec file after I insert new variables using Epidata Analysis and saving the file using command savedata. Please advise how to retail my file structure as well as checks after I insert some new variables using Epidata Analysis.
