NEED OF HELP ON EPIDATA. DATES MANAGEMENT. RELATIVELY URGENT PLEASE

How do you handle the dates in Epidata? I want to select a database from june 2013 to july 2014 (birthdate "BD") If I do like in Epiinfo
select bd > "30/04/2013" and bd < "01/08/2014" it does not work . I havez tried with and without "", or commas, and no result
I HAVE BEEN STUCK FOR 3 DAYS
Can you help me?

Hello,
If you're using EpiData 3.1 you need to use the date function, e.g. bd < date(01/08/2014). It may be the same with EpiData Manager but I haven't used it so don't know.

In EpiData Analysis:
select bd>dmy(30,04,2013) and bd<dmy(01,08,2014)
[the zero's are not necessary]. In Help (F1) go to Functions, and look for Date functions.
