Dear List
When i ad space, and than ad variables. They tend to jump around when i try to move them. Seems like there is no pattern to the jumping.
Im using Program version 0.8.6.1 EpiData Manager on a Mac OSX system.
Any tips or fixes?

That did the trick, sort of. Still a bit jumpy but much much better. lars

Get the latest version. Moving fields, adding sections, etc works much better on a Mac. Jamie

Hi Lars.
If you can provide more feedback on what you find buggy/tricky that would be very helpfull. Even though the latests version (0.8.8.0) of Manager is far better that the previous, there is no guaranties that it is bug-free.
The best feeback you can give me is providing a "steps to reproduce", with as detailed description as possible. Even little things like clicking arbitrary places could be important in an aspect of reproducing problems.

Regarding the jumpy variables:
In verion 0.8.8.0 before using the add space option moving variables in the manager is no problem. When clicking the variable 'entry box' and dragging the variable to the new spot is easy. But after clicking the add space option, and then doing the same thing the variables seems to jump randomly up or down and often places themselves ontop of the above placed variable. Even if i move the mouse downwards trying to drag (holding the mouse button down) the variables downwards.
A grid would be very helpful, by the way, as a guide to place variables. Fx when trying to group related variables.
Hope that gives reproducible steps.
