Adding unique number manually
Dear EpiData lister, thank you for your kind reply for my previous query.
There is new question. Can I have variable for ID numbers, called id, and to make sure the value entered is unique to avoid duplicates during data entry?

When creating a questionnaire, in the field pick list, in the "other" tab, select ID auto number Alternatively in the questionnaire create a field with this specific field marker: <IDNUM>
Example ID <IDNUM>
