I am using Epidata manager version 4.7.0.0 on a windows 11 laptop. I have been unable to export stata files from the manager for the past 2 weeks. When I try the program crashes and has to be closed down via task manager. Hope there are some good solutions for that?

Are you able to export the same datafile using Analysis? If that works, it’s a stopgap until the issue with Manager is sorted out. Assuming this has worked in the past, is there anything different now, such as the folder you are exporting to, number of variables, number of records? Jamie

Have you tried on the new analysis ?
Just Read module.epx Save module.dta
(If your file name is module.epx)
I would reinstall all the software modules of epidata and try again. Maybe your virus software is mingling
