We have a problem and maybe you can help us: We exported data from an old version of epidata(2003; operating system Windows NT servicepack 5) to a new one (3.1; operating system Windows XP Professional). Now there are in the qes.file many, many @ signs and they also appear when we export our data into SPSS (in the variable labels). If we skip the signs, in some cases variable labels in SPSS don´t exist anymore. What can we do to have a qes.file without @ signs but get all variable labels in SPSS?
