Epidata analysis not reading my rec file
Hello
Would someone tell me please what might be the problem when epidata analysis doesn't read rec file.
Thanks Mohd
It might be corrupted in someway. Did you manipulate it with any other program besides EpiData programs? Try to open it with EpiData Entry.

I think that Marco is right : the file might be corrupted. If Epidata Entry cannot open it, try to open and fix the file with Epi6 (EpiInfo for DOS system: you can download it from CDC website). I had the same problem and I could fix the file using this way.

Try setting:
set echo=on
maybe your file was read, but the message was not showing. If the file was read you can also see the number of records at the bottom status line
