Hi Caveman,
If you are very familiar with Linux then please try to type "help convert" in the command prompt editor it should give the different options how to convert different types of files. EpiC operates similarly as Linux Command editor (although I am not an expert user of Linux, I did play with it while ago and don't think that you need EpiC for Linux Operating System).
You could type "convert input.file output.file" in Linux cmd editor and see what happens hoping that you get there.
Kind regards
Tieble
*convert* *[* *options* *... ]* *input_file output_file*

I do not know where to post this question:
Is it possible to have the EpiC for Linux too?
I really need a program to convert rec to mysql. If use epic I will pass it to DBF then dbf2mysql will do the rest.
Thanks Caveman

I believe the convert command in linux is specifically for converting from one *image* file format to another. Image files like portable network graphics, jpeg, pdf, and the like.
