want to delete all records in epi data

Dear colleagues,
I would really appreciate if you could help me out in deleting all records from rec file in epidata. I used the pack file funcationin in *the Tools * menu.but still i couldnt delete all records. see the attached error.

Pack only removes records marked as deleted - i.e. you press the * button to delete them.
If you want to remove all of the data from your file, use the "Copy structure" function in the "Tools" menu. This will make a new .rec/.chk with a new name, but no data.
