EpiData, means, difficult data set

Hi all
First, thanks to everyone involved in EpiData. It's a lot of work and I appreciate it. I list EpiData in my list of free to use stat software https://sites.google.com/site/gsocialchange/statsoft
I have a data set that's probably difficult. ShortDataSet.csvhttps://drive.google.com/file/d/11WIET3s4eMHsB6JQ6hOQBx0SKquGRKKw/view?usp=sharing
I can do some analysis, such as frequency, and a scatter graph, but I'm having problems with means.
Using the menu drop downs, I tried to get a means for population and got this outcome
.means population !vla !l; ERROR: Unknown option/variable: vla
Actually, I get the same error if I try to get means for pctbelowpov, and gdppercap too.
I -can- use population in a scatter plot, for example, population by gdppercap, or population by pctbelowpov.
I can also use "describe" on a set of variables, for example, pctbelowpov to population.
Just can't get means to work.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Thanks for pointing out the problem with the menu for means.
It seems that we mistakenly added some options to means (using the menu dialogue) that aren’t implemented. I’ll add this to our issues list tonight. This should only affect the means dialogue.
You can type
means population
at the command line and get your results.
It seems that I need a paid google apps subscription to see your site.

Hi Jamie
Thanks for responding. I'll download EpiData again when the means issue is fixed. Are fixes done on a regular basis, like once a month, or are they whenever people have the opportunity?
That's very odd that a paid app is needed to access the data. I don't know why. However, I just uploaded the data to here too. You have to scroll down a bit on the page to get to the data set rather than a pdf.

I hope this is accessible.
Thanks

I had no problem getting the data set. It’s your gsocialchangesite that I can’t see.
We apply fixes regularly, but are still working to get more automated for releases.

Hi Jamie
Would it be possible to let me know, or post to the list, when the means in the menu is fixed and available for download? Or would I just wait?
Actually, I have a report comparing free to use and easy to use statistical software, and I'm hoping to add EpiData. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=4105959
You can't access this page? Maybe google changed something. I thought the sites pages were supposed to be available to everyone. I'll check with other folks too, to see if anyone has trouble.
