Dear Students,
As we move deeper into the fall season, it's important to take proactive steps to protect your health and the health of those around you.
Flu (influenza) vaccination is a requirement of the MAHN program. This vaccination is mandatory for all students in the program to ensure the safety and health of our community.
Vaccination clinics are available across Manitoba, and many accept walk-ins. Many start as early as next week. You can find a convenient location to get your flu shot, whether at a pharmacy, clinic, or public health site by visiting the WRHA’s immunization page: https://wrha.mb.ca/flu-covid-19-immunizations/ . Also consider asking your preceptor if there is a flu shot clinic set up at your work site during your placement.
Please submit proof of vaccination to us by emailing or arranging drop off of a copy of your record to 408 Human Ecology to mahn.info@umanitoba.ca before November 30th, 2025.
Thank you,
