Re: Extension of Dr. Douglas Brown's Position as Dean, Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management

Dr. Douglas Brown's term as Dean of the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management ends on August 31, 2024. Dr. Brown has indicated his willingness to be considered for an extension. According to the Deans of Faculties and Directors of Schools of the University: Appointment and Review policy (section 2.3.2):

If the incumbent wishes reappointment for a term that is no longer than 24 months and the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) believes it to be in the best interest of the University, the Provost and Vice-President (Academic) may recommend that the President extend the incumbent's terms for a period no longer than 24 months.

As I consider this extension, I would like to invite your comments on Dr. Brown's work as Dean during his tenure in office.
