Start End Details Date(s): Sun, Nov.30 Sun, Nov.30 8am-10pm Building Notification (Yes or No): YES Campus-wide Notification: On Sunday November 30th from 8am until 10pm contractors for the Prairie Biologics Accelerator new building being constructed on Parking Lot A will need to take the temporary generator power offline to relocate the generator. The main risk when removing the temporary generator from the trailers is that it will need to be disconnected from the existing power source. During this time, if a power failure occurs, there will be no backup power available for the Allen, Parker, Wallace, Duff, and Buller buildings. The outage period would last for the duration it takes the contractor to disconnect the cables, lift the generator equipment off the trailers, place it on the ground, reconnect the cables, and test the system. This process is expected to take approximately 5 to 10 hours, during which backup power will not be available. Bell ringing will be complete by 8am. During the fire alarm test, fire alarm bells will be pulsed for 5 seconds repetitively. Building: Brodie Centre Location(s): 260 General Office Area & adjoining offices Timeframe : Thursday September 4 2025 - 7:00 AM TO 8:00 AM Category: Construction - Electrical Panel Shutdown for New Circuit Installs. Overview: Please be advised, as part of the Brodie 260 Furniture Upgrade Project, we have a scheduled electrical panel (ID: P2NB) shutdown for this coming Thursday September 4 2025 - 7:00 AM TO 8:00 AM which will affect all receptables in the Brodie 260 General Office Area (refer to floor plan below for impacted locations outlined in red). Outlets in Voice/Data Room 255 will also be affected during this scheduled power outage. Please ensure all sensitive electronics (computers/photocopiers) are deenergized (turned off) the evening prior (on Sept 3) to our scheduled shutdown in order to ensure no inadvertent damage occurs to sensitive equipment during this scheduled electrical shutdown.
