Temporary access issues for some Nature journals
Hi everyone,
A faculty member contacted me who is having issues accessing articles from Nature journals such as Nature Plants. I emailed Electronic Resources and it is a known issue to them with all of the Nature publications right now. Electronic services forwarded me the following which is a quoted statement from Kristen Kruse sent to her staff on the issue: "Hi - we've run out of downloads on our Nature Articles on Demand account, and don't have the go-ahead for more just yet. If we don't get that soon I'll ask the OA team to deactivate the titles, but for now if you're on troubleshooting and it comes up can you make a note of it and let them know we expect it to be a temporary situation."
So if you do have this come up; recommend to the patron that they request the article through Document Delivery for now. You should also report this issue to Electronic Resources.
Cheers, Vickie
