Update on Student Lounge

Good Morning Med Students, Please note the new microwaves are now installed in the student lounge. Please do not move them around. Also if there are issues in future with their function please notify UGME via email at: bro260re(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:bro260re@umanitoba.ca> and unplug them for safety reasons. Also your kitchen has been tidied in order to facilitate the install and all items may not have been placed back where they were due to this, but have been left in the room. And lastly a few reminders to keep the lounge functional and pleasant for all: * Please avoid overloading any electrical outlets. The reason some outlets were not working is that the breakers have been tripped from being overloaded. Please limit what you are plugging in. * Cleaning the fridge and microwaves is not considered the caretaking staff's responsibility. * Kindly clean up after yourself to ensure the space is ready for the next person. Please note that we would like students to send in all concerns by email to the Brodie Reception email: bro260re(a)umanitoba.ca<mailto:bro260re@umanitoba.ca> as this will allow us to update you. This will also allow us to get an idea of if there are consistent issues that we can then look at addressing. Thank you!
