These opportunities are a great way to build skills, connect with peers across Canada and around the world, and contribute to areas you’re passionate about.

1) Make sure you’re a CFMS member! 📩

* As a medical student in one of the CFMS member schools, you are automatically eligible to create a CFMS account. By creating an account, you get access to an extensive list of member services and resources. 2) CFMS Planetary Health Day of Action (PHDoA) 🌎

* The CFMS Planetary Health Day of Action (PHDoA) is the first national advocacy event of the year, taking place in October 2025. Students will receive virtual training on sustainable health advocacy and public communications, then meet with MPs/MLAs to champion policies that protect people and the planet. 3) First in Medicine Mentorship Program 👥

* The First in Medicine Mentorship Program is a new pilot initiative that supports students who are the first in their families to pursue medicine. It fosters a supportive community where students can connect with peers who share similar experiences, while mentors provide guidance, encouragement, and insight to help build confidence and inclusivity in medical school.
