Dr. Kerry Galenzoski Scholarship
In 2024, Dr. Kerry Galenzoski established an endowment fund at the University of Manitoba. The purpose of the fund is to recognize and reward students for their work within the queer community in Community Psychiatry or outreach. Each year, beginning in 2025-2026, the available annual income will be used to offer one scholarship to an undergraduate student who:
1. is enrolled full-time in any year of study in the Undergraduate Medical Program in the Max Rady College of Medicine.
1. is in good standing.
1. has demonstrated their work within the queer community in Community Psychiatry or outreach.
Candidates must submit a statement (maximum 500 words) describing their demonstrated work in community Psychiatry or outreach within the queer community to UGME awards, awardsUGME@myumanitoba.camailto:awardsUGME@myumanitoba.ca Deadline date: October 27, annually. If the deadline falls on a weekend, you have until 12:00 pm Monday to submit your application.
