Hi Med 1's and 2's,

Please be advised that there will be delays in responses to absence requests submitted in Entrada between Thursday, January 29 - Monday, February 2. Requests submitted during this period will be reviewed starting February 3.

If you are planning flex days during the above 3-day period, your absence request should have already been submitted, right? (the attendance policy requires 3 weeks' notice for anticipated absences). If you have not yet submitted a request and know you will need time away, please submit this as soon as possible and no later than noon on Tuesday, January 27 to allow time for review.

For unanticipated/short notice absences (these still happen!), expect that a response will likely come after the session has passed. The important part is that you submit your request in advance of the session you will miss as we can see the timestamp. There is no need to follow up with our office regarding your request -- this will be reviewed starting Feb 3, in the order received in Entrada.
