I would like to share this message on behalf of Dr. Aaron Chiu, who is our associate dean on quality improvement and accreditation, regarding some opportunities to get involved with student advocacy on the national level with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA). Please see below:

I am the Director for Manitoba and chair the Audit and Finance Committee, a member of its Risk and HRCC committees, as well as a member of its Impact Board (which manages the PLI courses, CMAJ journal and its investments). The CMA Board and its committees are very active and engaged in changing the medical landscape for the benefit of physicians and patients.
