The MMSA’s Vice Stick Equity, Diversity, Inclusion Junior position is open for nominations!

The portfolio of VS EDI is quite broad and includes overseeing working groups, planning the annual conference, attending curriculum committee meetings, serving on CFMS committees, attending national conferences, serving as the official UGME admissions committee representative, and much more!

The nominations will remain open until Friday, April 17th at 11:59PM.

Unlike other MMSA positions, the VS EDI Jr. role will be appointed by a council made up of representatives from the three EDI working groups, Race and Ethnicity, 2SLGBTQIA+, and Accessibility, in addition to other equity-deserving student groups on campus (BMSA, FAMS, MMAC, 2SLBTQIA+ Interest Group) and a representative from the Indigenous Medical Student Association (IMSA).
